Vision2050

We had poverty and other challenges before COVID...

and the pathways out of poverty narrowed during COVID.

Our current trajectory seems dire...

and we can rewrite that story. We can create a much better future.

What do we owe our kids?

What do we owe our kids? What do we owe all of our kids across the globe, in every home, in every community, in every social class, of all abilities and in every identity group?

We owe them a world that is livable.

We owe them a present and a future that is built in humble partnership with them.

We owe them a future in which no creed or religion has the right to condemn them to a life of suffering.

We owe them a pledge to learn with them and to change with them as we learn more about this world that we share.

We can start by helping one more person in our local spaces to find a sense of community and belonging. We can go further by identifying the new revelations about human identity that most scares us, suspend judgment for a while, find a good book and learn about this brave new world. With any luck, what we learn might enrich our lives and help us to approach the future with a stronger spirit of hope.  We invite you  to commit to making these changes and join the Vision2050 Global Network

Vision2050

The Vison2050 Network believes that our combined actions to create belonging and support lives of dignity and purpose in our local spaces can make this better future a reality for all of us and for the generations that come after us.  Our aim is to make the world of 2050 one of the best periods for the planet and for humanity.
